SADSA | The South African Divorce Support Association is a Counselling/Coaching support networking service for people contemplating, undergoing relationship transition or having gone through a separation and/or divorce.

SADSA is about helping people learn to hold their emotional ground in the middle of intense conflict situations.

We are here to offer empathy and experience, and to provide practical tips to deal with the various issues and to move forward with your life and to assist you in this journey so as to explore the opportunities that are arising from this life changing situation.

Divorce has become a norm, and at SADSA, we want to provide support with emotional processing together with assistance in enabling you to view this, not as a break up in your life, but rather as a change in direction and an opportunity to develop yourself.

Some relationships need help to discover how to function better while others should be allowed to end.

SADSA also supports a Child-Centered approach to help divorcing/separating parents:

  • Keep the focus on their children's best interest

  • Help you make lasting, sound decision about parenting

  • Assist you, the parents, in working together to develop a child-centered custody plan and

  • Improve your ability to co-parent

There is no right or wrong.

Ending your relationship is NOT a failure, rather an experience from which you learn and grow.

Separation should be looked at as an opportunity for change and renewal.

Our Mission at SADSA is to assist you in this process.
