SADSA is proud to announce the exclusive association with Kids Turn's programs for South Africa.
Welcome to Kids’ Turn. Kids’ Turn programs are the only, evidenced-based community programs proven to help families when parents separate or divorce by: 1. Reducing parental conflict 2. Reducing parent alienation 3. Reducing internalizing of negative feelings by children. Fifty percent of all children experience parental separation or divorce by the time they reach the age of eighteen. Kids’ Turn is committed to helping those children and our programs, replicated internationally, are inclusive of unique family configurations (families where the parents never marry or never live together; same sex couples; single parents; military families). Kids’ Turn now features the innovative curriculum, The Kids’ Turn Way© based on the contemporary elements of Emotional Intelligence (EQ).

About the Workshops
Child-Parent Session For parents and their school-aged children, ages 5-17.
This workshop requires a six week commitment. Although both parents are encouraged to attend, at least one parent must register. Children enroll in age-appropriate groups, and parents have their own group enabling separated parents to participate in different settings.
Early Years Session
This workshop is for parents of very young children, ages 0-4. This workshop requires a six week commitment. The Early Years Curriculum is designed to help parents understand the impact of family reorganization on their young children, especially at a time when children developmentally need to attach to their family members. It teaches parents skills for promoting healthy development through cooperative parenting.
